Duple means twofold — two things moving as one. In music it’s the simplest rhythm there is, two beats to the bar. There are two of us, and that’s the whole company.
[Name] builds. [Name] designs. Between us we’ve spent [X] years making software, and the same thing kept happening: something gets built, it works fine, and six months later nobody’s using it. Not because it’s broken. Because it’s annoying.
So we started Duple. One of us makes sure it works, the other makes sure people actually want to use it. We like it small — you’ll never get passed to an account manager, because there isn’t one.
How we like to work
- You get both of us for one person’s price.
- We don’t split ourselves up and bill you twice. The design and the engineering are the same job, so we work on it together and charge like one hire.
- We’re flexible about everything else.
- A single fix or a full build, retainer or one-off. We’d rather shape the deal around your situation than make you pick from a menu.

- Tell us your budget and we’ll tell you what’s realistic inside it. If the honest answer is “don’t spend this here,” we’ll say that.
